1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using https://cashonlyjobs.ca/ (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Nature of the Service

CashOnlyJobs.ca is a job board platform that facilitates connections between individuals or businesses looking to hire ("Job Poster") and individuals seeking work ("Job Seekers").

  • Not an Employer: CashOnlyJobs.ca is NOT an employer, recruitment agency, or labor contractor.
  • No Employment Relationship: No employment or agency relationship is created between you and the Site.
  • Payment: All payment arrangements are strictly between the Job Poster and the Job Seeker. The Site does not process payments, guarantee wages, compensation, or mediate payment disputes.

3. Tax and Legal Compliance

  • Reporting Income: All users are solely responsible for complying with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and provincial tax laws. "Cash only" refers to the method of payment and does not exempt any party from reporting income or paying applicable taxes.
  • Employment Laws: If an arrangement between a Job Poster and Job Seeker is deemed to create an employment relationship, the Job Posters and Job Seekers are responsible for ensuring their arrangements comply with the Employment Standards Act of their respective province, including but not limited to, minimum wage, safety standards, and insurance (WSIB/WCB).

4. User Responsibilities & Safety

  • Due Diligence: We do not vet or screen users. Users must perform their own background checks and interviews.
  • Safety: Always meet in public places for initial interviews and inform someone of your location.
  • Prohibited Content: Job Posters may not post jobs that are illegal, involve explicit adult services, require upfront fees from the Job Seekers, or are discriminatory under the applicable human rights legislation.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CashOnlyJobs.ca and its operators shall not be liable for any damages (including lost wages, compensation, personal injury, or fraud) arising from your use of the Site or interactions with other users. The Site is provided "as-is."

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CashOnlyJobs.ca from any claims, losses, or legal fees resulting from your breach of these terms or your conduct during any form of engagement found through the Site.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the province or territory in which you reside.
